Connecting Water Quality Data to Your Control System

Modern plants increasingly depend on centralised monitoring, and measurement instruments must speak the same language as the control system. Communication and Output Overview

Flexible Analog Output

In addition to digital communication, the controller offers one isolated active current output that can be configured as 4~20 mA or 0~20 mA. The user selects which measured value is transmitted, and defines the corresponding minimum and maximum values for the 0 mA/4 mA and 20 mA endpoints. With a maximum load of 1000 Ω, the output integrates easily with chart recorders, indicators, and legacy control systems.

Selecting the Right Model

Where readings must be captured by a PLC, logged to a database, the APX1-C1Z adds the RS485 MODBUS-RTU interface that makes integration seamless. Both models share the same measurement core, the same IP66 housing, and the same control features, so upgrading from one to the other does not change the rest of the installation.
